Regular Season Overview

The regular season is pretty much done and dusted so here’s a quick overview of where our teams finished and what happens now.

AAM1 – Won the league. Semi final against either Coogee or South East Eagles

AAM2 – Won the league. Now have a confirmed semi final against Coogee

AAM3 – With a game to go the boys can no longer make the final but are still fighting strong in the ESFA Trophy with a game against UNSW tonight.

AAM3 (Sat) – The Blue’s were pipped at the post for title and will finish second whilst with a game to go the White’s will just miss out. The reward for the Blues, a semi final against either Queens Park or Redfern (most likely Queens Park)

AAM4 – Pipped Coogee to 3rd place on goal difference. Their reward? A semi final against Coogee.

AAM7 – A valiant effort from a team that was depleted by injuries and holidays. They will be back next year bigger and stronger.

AAM7 (Sat) – Finals football is confirmed and the weekend sees them play UNSW.

AAM8 – Missed out on finals footy by a solitary point.

O35A – Won the league with an unbeaten record so far – still two games remaining.

O35B – Third place secured. A trip to the seaside and a semi final against Maroubra awaits.

O45 – With two fixtures left, second place is ours. A huge semi final against perennial winners Pagewood will be a blockbuster clash

AAW1 – Won the league with three games to go. Their reward, a semi final against Coogee which was lost 1 – 0. Second chance against Sydney Uni B this weekend.

AAW2 – Lost one game all season to finish second in the league. Won the ESFA cup and now gunning for Waverley in their semi final.

AAW3 – Completed a win on the weekend to finish 3rd in the league and they will play Coogee in a sudden death play off.

AAW5 – A great effort to finish 3rd. An unfortunate defeat to Lions means an elimination finals game against Easts.

So that’s four league 🏆🏆🏆🏆 and one knockout 🏆 so far. Well done to everyone and good luck for those 12 teams still rolling in the finals or knock out competitions.
