NSW Champion of Champions – Semi Finals!

In what is a great achievement for the club, we have both our Women’s and O35 Men’s Championship teams playing this Sunday in the CoC semi-finals at the home of Football NSW, Valentine Sports Park.

Our O35’s have had a week to recover from last weekend’s golden goal winner against North Sydney Utd and face Riverstone FC from Blacktown FA. The talk this week was that despite dominating the game, we almost blew it and we need to make sure we turn up on Sunday and focus on one game at a time and all that…. Matty Toeover had a good 40 minute run out last week as he returns from injury and will be pushing for a place in the starting line-up. The same squad will be available for Charlie to choose from and he will have some tough decisions to make!

Our Women only played last night, winning the QF 3-0 against Gosford with 3 great goals in the 2nd half. Not much time to recover for the girls before Sunday’s SF and with a few players heading overseas, it will be a good test of the depth of the squad as they take on Banksia Tigers who haven’t even played a game to make it this far so there’s not much known about them!

Both games are at Valentine Sports Park and it would be great if we could get a large Dunbar crowd to support Charlie and Mini and the players!!
