AAW Championship re-gain the league title
Congratulations to our Cambridge Hotel Sydney AAW Championship who yesterday re-gained the league title.
Coming up against UNSW, the team from the Reg won 8 nil to secure the league title and ensure they would be back in the NSW Champions of Champions competition, a competition that they won in 2016.
With a game to go, Dunbar are now five points clear of their nearest rival Coogee and will be looking to continue their fine form heading into the finals series, aiming to retain the 2017 major premiership!
The AAW Championship side are by far the clubs most successful side, winning multiple league titles (11), six grand finals, the only Dunbar (and Eastern Suburbs Football Association) side to win the Football NSW State Cup (2015) and winning the Football NSW Champions of Champions in 2016 – long may this success continue.
Well done to David Buck and the team.
