ESFA Men’s update – 11th/12th Jul

Overall it was a disappointing weekend for Dunbars Men’s teams with the top 4 ESFA teams all losing and the Dunbar Rovers FC State League men’s team only picking up a draw.

With the AA4s playing tomorrow night against Hefron Hawks, the top AA men’s team to win was the AA6s who had a sensational 4-0 win vs Coogee United with a freak goal from Lee Burney taking an act of god like bounce over the goalkeeper into an empty net to change the game. Further goals from Dom Miller and a brace from Braian Swarch-Poch.

The AA7s remain unbeaten after a 2-2 draw with Coogee, with Pim Bolyn netting a double against one of the other title contenders. Co-coach Ben Pierce is doing a great job in the absence of Oliver Gee who is still on the Greek Islands.

The AA8 Saturdays made extremely lite work of the supposed disastrous injury to irreplaceable Centre back and player coach Ben Jackson with an 6-1 win. The team had some help from 3 Over 35/1 loan signings who were all brilliant as part of an excellent team performance!
