FFA Cup game against Bankstown City Lions.

Dunbar Rovers FC State League need your support. See below all the details about their massive FFA Cup game tomorrow night against Bankstown City Lions.

The vast majority of club members would not yet have seen our brand new Men’s NSW State League 2 First Grade side in action, but tomorrow night (Tue Mar 31) you have the opportunity to support them in a real blockbuster, and at a venue not too far from the Eastern Suburbs, when they take on PS4 NPL NSW 2 giants Bankstown City in Round 4 of the Westfield FFA Cup. Kickoff is 8pm on the 5G synthetic pitch at the outstanding 5sports complex, 115-125 The Boulevarde, Caringbah (just off Taren Point Rd).

We should have good support on the night. Our State League Under 20s squad will be training on the pitch in the hour before and will be staying on to support the First Graders. In addition, our ESFA Prems and Ressies coaches have changed Tuesday training to a theory session and asked their squads to show up in strong numbers to support the team. We are hoping that some of the other squads will take the opportunity to come down and get behind the boys in the pink collars. We’d love your support too. If you do decide to come along, please wear your club colours.

Make no mistake about it, this is the biggest competitive game in the club’s 25 year history. Never before have we taken on a multiple NSW Premier League champion with a sprinkling of former Socceroos thrown in for good measure with something at stake. Bankstown play two divisions higher than us and their wage bill alone would make our Club Treasurer’s eyes water!

It promises to be a fantastic occasion. Will Cullen’s boys are pumped and will certainly give a good account of themselves. Your support might make the difference on the night! Please share this post and tell your friends.
