What a win!! AAW1/2 B ~~~ (AAW2)
After playing just one trial match due to weather and having a pre-season that was disjointed due to holidays and injuries, the AAW2’s were just thankful to get on the park against a youthful looking Maroubra side. With a number of debutants, it took the team a little while to get into their flow but when they did, they did. The final score of 17 (seventeen) nil, reflected the dominance of what is surely one of the strongest teams to ever be classed as an AAW2 side.
This weekend we are at home to Pagewood who lost their opening game 4-1. Dunbar are certainly not expecting a similar scoreline to their game against Maroubra however after a great training session on Wednesday night, the team will again be looking towards it’s forwards to get them over the line. If you have nothing to do on Sunday afternoon, get yourself down to the Reg for the 3pm kick off. The weather will be set fair (27 degrees) and the football should be just as hot.
